Take Your Pick: Peyton Manning or Robert Griffin III?

Peyton Manning was officially released from the Indianapolis Colts Wednesday afternoon. March 8th, the Colts had a $28 million option bonus they could have payed Peyton, however, with they’re set to move into the Andrew Luck era. With the uncertainty of his health, and the horrible season Indy had without him in 2011, the Colts had to make a business decision. With Peyton’s release, he has instantly become the most coveted free agent since Reggie White, and arguably the biggest free agent ever. Since the Colts drafted him in 1998, Peyton Manning resurrected that franchise and has become one of, if not the greatest Quarterback ever to play the game.

Though he is Peyton Manning, there’s still concern on whether he’ll be healthy enough to play at a high level again. I addressed this concern in a previous post which you can glance at right here where the text color has changed.

For the Washington Redskins, addressing the Quarterback position is #1 on the priority list. Luckily, there are tons of options between the draft and free agency to choose from.

Lets narrow the options down to the two most likely:

  • Robert Griffin III, Baylor
  • Peyton Manning
