The last ten days have certainly been kind to USC and head coach Kevin O’Neill.

Since Jun. 29, the Trojans have added three verbal commitments from the class of 2013. It started with Connecticut-native Kahlil Dukes, then continued with point guard Kendal Harris. Now, USC has added California-native Roschon Prince.

Prince tweeted on Tuesday afternoon that he had committed to the Trojans, ending a recruitment that had included a number of fellow, Pac-12 schools.

Prince had been receiving interest from a number of west-coast schools, including Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, San Diego State, Oregon, and UCLA.

The 6-foot-5 forward is a native of Long Beach, California and currently attends Long Beach Polytechnic H.S. (CA).

Prior to Dukes’ announcement and commitment on Sunday, Jun. 29, the Trojans’ class of 2013 was bare, but now things are beginning to come together nicely.

After a tumultuous 6-26 season a year ago, things are looking brighter for the Trojans’ program. O’Neill and USC will rely heavily on a slew of newcomers for the 2012-13 season, a group that features a number incoming freshmen and eligible transfers.

Yet, looking ahead even further to 2013, a solid recruiting class is coming together and Prince is the latest addition.

The forward ran with California Supreme on the AAU circuit this past summer.
