This girl obviously needs to be coached up a little bit in the art of playing goalie in soccer.
This is a 101 of how NOT to play goalie.
Lets break it down.
First off….why on earth is the keeper playing to the outside the goal? I am pretty sure the objective of playing goalie is to prevent the ball from going into the net, not from going wide. The ball was in the middle of the pitch, directly in front of her, yet the chick was about where she should be if she was taking a drink of water while play was on the other side. As a goalie myself, I know we can get a little off-center during games occasionally, but come on.
Even worse….why was she BEHIND the goal? Was she planning on making some super flip over the top of the goal? Does she have extra-stretchy arms? Or did she simply have that little respect for the other team’s offense?
Clearly she didn’t realize where she was…because she would have been more careful. Instead, she got what she deserved; a face full of pole.
One can only wonder why. Perhaps she was banging her head against it earlier in the game. Its as logical of a solution as to what actually happened here.
Ten bucks says she a) Is picked last in gym the rest of her life and b) Is on an episode of Tosh.O in the near future.
