While Game 4 of the NLDS between the Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals was filled with plenty of excitement, it was a furry creature that was quite the popular topic for interrupting the game.

The video above shows a squirrel dashing across home plate during the bottom of the fifth inning as Roy Oswalt threw a pitch to Skip Schumaker–which the Phillies player wasn’t too happy about. Oswalt argued with the umpire that the pitch shouldn’t count since the squirrel was a distraction–but the play still counted.

After the Cardinals escaped Game 4 with a 5-3 win over the Phillies on Wednesday, the series heads back to Philadelphia for what is expected to be a very intense Game 5 that will determine which team advances to the NLCS. Hopefully, there won’t be any squirrels or other animals running across the field this time around.

Thanks to the Huffington Post for the video above.
