Running marathons is hard.  Giving birth to a child is also hard.  Combine both of those two things in the same day and I would probably call you crazy or the toughest person on the planet.  Amber Miller definitely falls into the “toughest” category.

The veteran marathon runner ran the Chicago Marathon in 6.5 hours.  That’s not a great time, but it’s better than I could do.  She was also nearly 39 weeks pregnant and she gave birth after the race.  Talk about your jam-packed day.

I have a lot of respect for Miller after this.  Most people can’t even finish a marathon and she finished one while carrying a baby.  That is extremely impressive.  It also makes for one heck of a story to tell her daughter when she’s old enough.

Thanks to Bar Stool Sports for the story.
