Soccer Fight in Argentina Involves Police, Players, and Fans (video)
Oh soccer. You are always great for videos like this. Soccer fans are probably the most passionate fans in the world. I would know, as I am constantly mocked by soccer fans for my lack of knowledge of their game. I don’t need to have any soccer knowledge to break this video down though.
It starts off with the team in blue scoring a goal. Nothing seems out of the ordinary until a disagreement happens between two players. Police come onto the pitch and it seems that everything is calmed down. Number 8 on the blue side ignited the powder keg by throwing a sucker punch and running away. This led to an all out brawl involving fans, with the refs and police desperately trying to break up the melee.
I’ll give this to soccer fans. You really don’t want to mess with them. They will defend their team to the bitter end, even if it means taking a swing at an opposing player.
