VIDEO: Derrick Rose Presents Game Ball Before Game 2

It has been a somber time in Chicago over the last couple of days. With Derrick Rose tearing his ACL Saturday, most Chicago Bulls fans have been down in the dumps. In order to lift the spirits of the fans, the Bulls did something cool. Rose was chosen to present the game ball and received an amazing ovation.

Seriously, it was great to see him but it was also painful. It’s big for the Bulls to get some of that energy but it also sad to see Rose not being able to play. Watching him watch in that giant knee brace is just depressing as you can get.

The Philadelphia 76ers have a chance to steal a game or two from the Bulls if Chicago plays flat. There is always a chance that could happen, especially with Rose unable to play. Rose is the power behind the engine of the Bulls so not having him bodes well for Philly. They need a little bit of help to get over the hump, since Chicago has a lot more talent than Philly.

It will be an interesting series. It could swing back and forth or the Bulls could come out angry and stomp the Sixers. The Bulls have been dismissed as a true title contender and I know that has to eat at the players. They will not let themselves get beat because of their emotion. The mantra is to “Do It For Derrick.” I’ve watched this team all year and am fully confident they give 100 percent to achieve their goal.
