Week 4 Fantasy Baseball Player Rankings

Derrick Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

After an injury-riddled start to the 2013 fantasy baseball season, Week 4 promises to be a little more stable.

Several players started the year off miserably, but are finally beginning to produce like fantasy starters. Power hitters like C Buster Posey, OF Mike Trout, 3B Ryan Zimmerman, 2B Neil Walker, OF Alfonso Soriano, and OF Desmond Jennings all hit their first home runs of the year this past week.

The group may have started the year off slowly, but they have all picked up their game this past week. It is hard to stick with a guy while he is going 0-4 every night, so sleep well knowing that these stars are ready to start hitting some homers again.

Also San Diego Padres 3B Chase Headley just came back from a short DL-stint after suffering a small fracture in his left thumb during spring training. He has already hit a long ball, despite only being back for four games, so he is clearly ready to start producing for fantasy owners once again.

Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz will also be activated from the DL for Week 4. He missed some time due to a sore Achilles tendon, which is never a promising sign from a 37-year-old. However, Ortiz has started hitting from the moment he stepped into the batter’s box and is ready to produce for fantasy owners once again.

To help you set you lineup this week, here are my complete Week 4 fantasy baseball player rankings.
