Week 14 Fantasy Football IDP Sleepers: Linebackers

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Each week of the fantasy football season, there are plenty of sleeper articles out there for offensive players. However, there are never enough IDP sleepers. So to help set your final lineup in IDP leagues, here are some fantasy sleepers at the linebacker position for Week 14.

LB Nick Roach, Oakland Raiders – Roach has emerged out of nowhere in recent weeks to put up stellar IDP numbers. Over the last two weeks alone, Roach has racked up 21 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and two force fumbles. He is hitting everything that moves and gets another dream matchup against a New York Jets team that is having a serious offensive identity crisis.

LB Sean Lee, Dallas Cowboys – Lee has been an IDP superstar in recent years and has been one of the most reliable linebackers in fantasy. However, the veteran injured his hamstring back in Week 10 and hasn’t played since. The team had extra time for Lee to rest following a Thanksgiving Day game and the linebacker should finally be back in action this week. Dallas will face the run-heavy Chicago Bears this Monday night and the Pro Bowl linebacker should step into a double-digit tackle performance.

LB Rob Ninkovich, New England Patriots – Last week against the Houston Texans, Ninkovich racked up just four tackles. It was his worst fantasy performance in months and caused many owners to instantly drop him. Ninkovich still racked up 22 tackles and two sacks in the two previous games to that, so his one poor week shouldn’t be too concerning. Ninkovich will always be a high-risk, high-reward option, but he should shine this week against a Cleveland Browns squad that has been sacked 12 times over the last three games.
