Peyton Manning says goodbye to Indianapolis Colts, Will he say hello to Miami Dolphins?
In an emotional press conference today at noon, Peyton Manning addressed the world and confirmed his release from the Indianapolis Colts.
While the news is no real surprise, the thought of Manning playing football somewhere else is still hard to accept.
During the conference, Peyton claimed that he had not thought about where he would play next, but the Miami Dolphins may have the inside track in landing the future Hall of Famer.
Miami has room under the cap, an owner willing to spend, and fresh young talent that could make Miami an immediate title contender with the addition of Manning.
The poise and class that Manning showed during his announcement today goes to show that, whichever team is blessed with his talents, they are getting more than just an amazing quarterback. They also get a team leader, who puts the organization first, regardless of the circumstances.
