Video: LeBron James Lobbies for Peyton Manning to Sign With Miami Dolphins

The Peyton Manning frenzy is well under way after his official release by the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday. Many believe the Miami Dolphins are frontrunners to sign the most high-profile free agent in NFL history and another Miami professional athlete is weighing in on the matter. As you heard in the video in the link above, Miami Heat forward LeBron James said after his team’s Wednesday night win that Manning and the Dolphins would be a good fit, if for no other reason than James’ liking.
James’ “The Decision” was televised in the summer of 2010, in which he announced he was going to sign with the Miami Heat after seven seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers. James was considered the most high-profile free agent NBA history and he chose Miami as his destination. If Manning was to do the same, Miami might explode from the Hollywood effect. Imagine the publicity of James and the Heat win the NBA Finals this year and then Manning and the Dolphins win the Super Bowl in 2013…
