Cons

Has a Strong Supporting Cast On Clemson’s Defensive Line: Thompson has a very strong supporting cast on Clemson’s defensive line.  Clemson had 2 top 100 picks on their defensive line along with 2 2012 first round picks this year in 2012.

My thoughts on Brandon Thompson

Brandon Thompson is the top defensive tackle in the 2012 NFL Draft.  Thompson is graded out as my 13th best player at this point.  Thompson reminds me a lot of Warren Sapp coming out college.

Thompson is one of the most complete defensive lineman coming out of college.  Thompson’s only remote knock is that he has a strong supporting cast on Clemson’s defensive lineman which may make Thompson look like a perennial pro bowler on paper in the event that Thompson doesn’t succeed at the next level.
