Both New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady once met in Super Bowl 42.  That was 4 years ago when the New England Patriots were on the cusp of perfection as the NFL’s greatest team of all time.

Both quarterbacks are playing with a major chip on their shoulder once again.  Who wants it more?  That seems to be the million dollar question that the mainstream media wants the answer to.

Eli Manning was drafted #1 overall in 2004.  Manning already has 1 Super Bowl ring.  He still trails Ben Roethlisberger another quarterback drafted in 2004 who has 2 Super Bowl Rings and 3 Super Bowl appearances.

Eli Manning would have more Super Bowl Rings than his older brother Peyton Manning with a Giants win on Sunday.  Its sort of ironic that Eli has to play in Peyton’s stadium to surpass his brother.  It will be intense to see how the Giants respond to that.

Peyton Manning is almost certainly getting into Canton with his one Super Bowl Ring and mind boggling stats.  Eli Manning has a chance to cement his status in Canton as well with a win against the Patriots. Defeating Tom Brady twice in a Super Bowl is pretty historic.

There will be debate about whether Eli gets into Canton when his career ends if the Giants lose Sunday.  Eli can put all of this debate to rest with another Super Bowl win against Brady.  Eli already was Super Bowl 42 MVP after ending New England’s run at perfection as the Patriots fell one game short finishing 18-1.

Tom Brady is already up for consideration as the greatest quarterback of all time.  Brady is tied with Joe Montana for most playoff wins of all time with 16.  Brady can surpass his childhood idol Joe Montana with a win Sunday.

Brady would have 4 Super Bowl Wins, 5 Super Bowl appearances, and one season where he won Unanimous MVP in 2010-2011.  This would clearly make Tom Brady the greatest NFL quarterback of all time.

The bottom line is someone will cement their legacy Sunday.  The question is who.  Will Eli solidify his spot to Canton?  Will Brady go down as the NFL’s greatest quarterback of all time?  Find out Sunday at 6:30 on NBC.
