Did the Cleveland Browns waste a second round pick by drafting Montario Hardesty? It is certainly looking that way to me. I wrote this article on Wednesday and on Thursday, he was done for the year, with a torn ACL. Let’s be honest for a minute, heading into the draft, running back was not the highest priority for the Cleveland Browns. They were returning Jerome Harrison, who finished last season incredibly strong. James Davis, who heading into the 2009 season was a favorite to become the Cleveland Browns starter prior to his injury. They traded for Peyton Hillis, who I think will play a major role in the Browns offense this season. So was Hardesty a priority or a luxury pick?
