The time has come. Can you feel it? The gladiators of the fall are about to take center stage. I love college football; the excitement is immense. However, for spectacular performances and story lines that read like a 17-part mini-series that builds up to the frenzied climax of, egad, a playoff, nothing in professional sports beats the National Football League. Around One Buc Place, a modest amount of excitement is building for a season in which the Bucs hope to move out of the NFL’s basement and into the lobby or perhaps beyond.
