-Focus on the Thumb-  The most important person on the field today will easily be Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman. The fact that he only took eight snaps in the preseason will give the Bucs coaches and fans room to pause. They need him to come out sharp from the start, which isn’t likely. The best you can hope for is that Freeman makes good decisions, that his thumb doesn’t inhibit his throwing motion and that the running game can open opportunities for him. -Rookie Debut- This is will be the first NFL regular season game for two important rookies on both sides of the ball.
