Oakland Raiders miss out big time

The Oakland Raiders let a true quality veteran slip away from them in the past day, WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Like a seagull swooping in for a potato chip on the beach, the Baltimore Ravens came out of no where and snatched the veteran wide receiver up. I wrote in this space yesterday, that I thought the Oakland Raiders would be wise to pick up T.J. Houshmandzadeh to the roster. Throughout his entire career, he’s been a #2, possession type receiver, but he racks up the catches. The Oakland Raiders don’t need homerun threats at receiver, the roster is filled with fast, inexperienced pass catchers. The addition of Houshmandzadeh would would provided dividends both as a receiver and as a teacher. He is still productive, he had more receptions for a really crappy Seattle Seahawks squad last...
