In case Lawrence Tynes—who suffered a sprained ankle during Friday’s practice—is unable to go on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, the New York Giants signed Shayne Graham on Saturday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter Graham spent the last seven years with the Bengals, but struggled at times throughout 2009—especially in the playoffs. His two missed field goals from 35 and 28 yards against the New York Jets in the opening round of the playoffs was just one of many reasons why Cincinnati decided to part ways with one of their best kickers in franchise history. Now, the 32-year old kicker may have a chance for a fresh start in New York if Tynes is unable to go this weekend.
