Sitting at 2-3, the Miami Dolphins are still in the playoff hunt, but need to find a way to go 7-4 the rest of the way to have a legitimate shot at making the postseason. There are a few moves out there the Dolphins could make that would indicate a strong push for this year, or that the team is packing it in and looking to add pieces for the future.

As disturbing as the thought of dealing Matt Moore may be, if the Dolphins are sold on Ryan Tannehill, trading Moore for skill position talent or a mid-round draft pick might not be out of the equation. Teams like St. Louis and Houston might be willing to shell out a higher price than expected to get some semblance of stability at the quarterback position.

There are a ton of teams -- like the New York Giants -- out there that could use a solid receiver. With Jarvis Landry rapidly moving up the depth chart, it would make sense to deal one of the big contract receivers to clear cap room moving forward.

3. Trade Will Davis

This is a bit of a long shot, but with Reshad Jones back from suspension, and Jimmy Wilson solidified as the nickel corner, Will Davis didn’t see a snap against Green Bay. It would make sense to try to get depth elsewhere in exchange for Davis.

While elite outside pass rushers don’t just grow on trees, they are far more common than shutdown corners. Wake is a beast on the outside, and has more trade value than any other Dolphins player. Trading him for a starting corner and a mid-round draft pick would go a long way towards improving the defensive unit as a whole.

Although it is still early in his career, Jordan has either been suspended or ineffective since being drafted third overall in the 2013 Draft. To cut ties at this point would be admitting that trading up to get him was a huge mistake, but how long can the team afford to hold on to him when his presence isn’t being missed on the field?
