The trade deadline has been a very good friend to the Patriots in the past. Two years ago the Patriots traded a fourth-round pick for cornerback Aqib Talib, who finally brought hope to a horrible Patriots’ secondary. With this year's trade deadline approaching, this time the Patriots could be looking to unload some players, and here are the most likely culprits.

Now it may seem silly to trade a running back when the Pats are lacking their starting back. But it seems the Patriots are fine focusing on Shane Vereen and the recent practice squad recruit Jonas Gray, who I love for the record. Bolden could help a team looking for a secondary running back, particularly one who can catch out of the backfield.

The woes of the offensive line have been well documented this season. But it seems the Patriots have finally found a winning lineup that doesn't include Marcus Cannon. Cannon can play most positions on the line (though his last few tries at tackle went horribly), but with rookie Cameron Fleming showing potential, Cannon could be moved.

The million dollar man has done nothing. Despite his recent kick return success, Amendola is obviously not quite getting into the offense. He hasn't done much for the Patriots (I guess that game-winning touchdown against the Jets was nice), but there are plenty of teams out there in need of an oft-injured slot receiver. I mean, Percy Harvin just got traded.

2. Alfonzo Dennard

Dennard has had a rough go of things thus far this season. At times he’s shown flashes of the brilliance he displayed last year, but more often than not he has been a victim of an opposing quarterback’s success. With Browner returning from suspension, the corner position is crowded and Dennard could be the odd man out.

Ugh, I am so sad this didn't work out. Yes maybe it’s too early to tell, but since I have seen Dobson about as often as I’ve seen Randy Moss in a Christmas sweater (once), I’d say the experiment is over. Dobson still has big receiver potential and could draw in interest from a team in search of a big play receiver.
