NFL Week 11 Picks, Score Predictions

Week 10 was rough week, with enough upsets to bounce me to 8-5 after a red-hot 10-3 Week 9. Week 11 will be my bounce-back week, so here are the picks for the upcoming slate of NFL action.

A week ago, Miami was 60 seconds from a quality win in Detroit when their defense let them down. In Buffalo, Kyle Orton is playing the best ball of his career. The Dolphins’ defense will end Orton’s run with a 27-17 victory.

Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers

Both teams were impressive in Week 10. The Eagles thrived with Mark Sanchez at quarterback, but the Packers have Aaron Rodgers and he is on fire. Rodgers will torch the Eagles' defense in Lambeau for their second blowout victory in a row, 45-9.

Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals

This might have been one of the games of the year had Carson Palmer not been lost to a season-ending injury last week. Even so, it’s a good choice for game of the week, and I’ll pick the Lions’ defense as the difference maker in a 35-21 victory.

Oakland Raiders at San Diego Chargers

In a race for the top draft pick, the Raiders are leading the way and not looking back. The Chargers are in rapid decline, having lost three in a row, but they’ll snap that string with a 28-14 win.

Seattle Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs

Seattle ran all over the Giants as there was no stopping Marshawn Lynch. They won’t have the same success on the road in Kansas City against a red-hot Chiefs team. Kansas City wins their fifth in a row by beating the defending champs, 24-17.

San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants

The 49ers will deliver an encore to the big win in New Orleans as Colin Kaepernick makes it two impressive road games in a row by beating the Giants 34-17.

Denver Broncos at St. Louis Rams

As predicted, Peyton Manning took out his frustrations of losing to the Patriots by lighting up the Raiders with five more touchdown passes. Look for a similar performance as he dismantles the Rams, 34-7.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Redskins

The return of RG III wasn’t the spark the Redskins needed, and starting Josh McCown was just as ineffective for the Buccaneers. The Redskins are still better than the lowly Bucs and win this one at home, 31-28.

Cincinnati Bengals at New Orleans Saints

If anyone needs a bounce-back game it’s the Bengals, who were flat and completely ineffective against the Browns last week. The Saints lost a rare home game, and that can’t possibly happen two games in a row. The Saints deny the bounce back by beating the Bengals, 31-17.

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are slipping fast, having lost four in a row. Ron Rivera claims Cam Newton is not hurt, but his play suggests otherwise. Atlanta wins a second game in a row for the first time this season, 21-14.

Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns

How can you not like the Browns after their inspired win on the road against rival Cincinnati? I’m a believer in the tough Browns’ defense and the leadership of Brian Hoyer. The Browns will win 17-14 for their sixth win in the last seven games.

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

Teddy Bridgewater Minnesota Vikings

No Adrian Peterson, no problem. The troubled Bears’ defense will have their hands full trying to contain Teddy Bridgewater. The Vikings will take it to the lifeless Bears, 34-14.

New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts

Tom Brady is just getting warmed up, and this matchup with Andrew Luck should be on your can’t-miss list. Both teams have had a bye week to prepare so expect a shootout. I give the Colts the home-field edge in a 35-34 battle.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans

What happened to red-hot Big Ben last week against the Jets will prove to be a hiccup in an otherwise great season. The Steelers will rebound quickly to stay in the tight AFC North race with a 28-0 shutout.
