The Cincinnati Bengals have to like their chances of coming away with a victory in Week 13. They will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road. TB is simply not a good football team.
Cincinnati has won two in a row and four of five. It has a small lead in its division, but a loss could certainly change that in a hurry. People can say all they want about Andy Dalton, but he simply leads his team to victory. Would a Peyton Manning be better to have? Sure, but Manning would make almost any team instantly that much better. With that in mind, Dalton has to lead his team to a victory in the playoffs this year, assuming Cincy makes the playoffs.
I know who isn’t going to make the playoffs — the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team recently captured their second win of 2014, but then they followed that up with a loss to the Chicago Bears on the road. I’m not saying a loss to Chicago is bad, it just shouldn’t be a surprise that the Buccaneers weren’t able to keep their winning streak alive.
Dalton being the future of this team or not, I like his chances of leading his team to yet another victory, which will get the Bengals one step closer to the playoffs, and the Buccaneers one step closer to a long offseason.
