Week 13 Matchup: New England Patriots (9-2) vs. Green Bay Packers (8-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 30, 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Lambeau Field
Line: Green Bay (-3)
This matchup has awesomeness written all over it. After all, the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers will be taking the field against one another. Just in case you didn’t know, both are top teams in the NFL, and have the talent to win the Super Bowl this year.
It is amazing to think New England doesn’t have the line in this game. It has now won seven games in a row. During that span, the Patriots have blown out quite a bit of opponents, and have beaten some pretty solid teams as well. Also, Tom Brady has been having an amazing season to say the least. That just tells you how good Aaron Rodgers and co. have been this year, and how solid they are at home.
Green Bay is riding a three-game winning streak into this one. Sure, it could only manage 24 points against the Minnesota Vikings last week, but it still got the victory. The two games before that the Packers scored 50+ in both contests. That is pretty darn impressive in the NFL.
Whoever has the ball last and whichever quarterback has the best outing very well could come away with this one. Although New England probably is the best team in the NFL right now, it is really hard to go against Green Bay when it is playing at home. Therefore, I am going with the Packers, but it should be a great game no matter what the outcome is.
PREDICTION: Patriots 30, Packers 35
