The Seattle Seahawks are back to being the best team in the NFL — well, at least in many people’s minds. The St. Louis Rams have had their ups and downs, and will have it rough in their final game of 2014.

Seattle could still earn the top seed in the playoffs with a victory over the Rams. It could also get a little bit of revenge. The Rams managed to beat the Seahawks earlier in the year. You know, back when the defending national champs lost two games in a row and the world started to panic.

Since then, the Seahawks have been on one heck of a roll. As of right now, they are on a five-game winning streak and have been unstoppable on the defensive end. Yeah, all is right in Seattle again.

Given the fact that the Rams only scored six points against Arizona in Week 15, and then allowed 37 points against the New York Giants last week, it is hard to go with them this week. It doesn’t help that they will be playing on the road and, of course, have no shot at making the playoffs.

Expect Seattle’s defense to do what it does best — not allow opposing teams to score the ball — and for it to come away with the victory.
