Following the Philadelphia Eagles’ embarrassing 29-16 loss to the New York Giants, quarterback Michael Vick had a number of not-so-nice things to say about the referees, who, in his opinion, failed to protect him from receiving a number of late hits after he threw the ball.
He later retracted those comments but it didn’t stop the New York Post from offering their own opinion about Vick and his comments, which included one reporter labeling the game as “The Crying Game”.
The NY post also felt that it was necessary to include this picture of Michael Vick, depicted as a baby and holding a bottle of milk.
Personally, I find the picture to be pretty immature. This isn’t the first time that the NY Post took a shot at Vick. After the Miracle at the New Meadowlands last December, the Post used a dog fighting reference about Vick.
Plus, the Eagles have every bit of bragging rights over the New York Giants. One loss does not erase the memories of six consecutive victories, which included a huge road victory in the 2008 playoffs and of course, a miracle in the new Meadowlands last December.
The Giants are 2-1 and the Eagles are 1-2. The Redskins and the Cowboys are 2-1. The division is completely up for grabs. It’s anybody’s division.
The Eagles will face the New York Giants again this season, and the game will be in New York. If I am Andy Reid, I am tacking the picture of Vick dressed as a baby to the bulletin board and leaving it there as motivation for when the Eagles get to face the men in blue again this season.
The Eagles will remember this game. They will remember the picture. And they will make the New York Giants pay.

What…..and you think that tuck, osi, JPP and the rest of the giants d-line are just going to stand around in that next game and NOT try to decapitate vick again? vick created this nonsense by opening his mouth….it has nothing whatsoever to do with the giants.
