Emmanuel Mudiay’s progress as a player has not escaped the attention of everyone. I have written here in the past that Mudiay and Tyus Jones are pretty much a toss up for me at point guard, and that Jones may currently be the better player but that Mudiay has better potential. I have yet to see Jones live, but Mudiay impressed me quite a bit at NHSI in Bethesda. Mudiay vowed to get back next season, but there are a lot of quality teams out there so Prime Prep will have to perform on the court in order to get another shot at winning the tournament.

Mudiay and Jones will meet one day at the college or pro level and when they do it will be a sight to behold. Not sure if they are playing each other next season, but if they are it will certainly make headlines here at Rant Sports Prep. If you keep an eye out for a piece on Dakari Johnson later today then you will not be disappointed. Johnson was the most outstanding player at NHSI and he predicted a college national championship shortly after winning the tournament in Bethesda. That will be decided on the court next season, but something tells me it is going to be a roller coaster of a year. It has been that kind of week hasn’t it? At least it has from my end.
