The Duke Blue Devils have had quite a lot of to cheer about in the past (although not last year), but they are in for a whole different level of play next season. That does not mean they are going to win a championship, but the level of play is going to be quite high. Watching a talent like Jabari Parker is always amazing, because of all the work the Chicago product has put into his game. This has been his life passion and he has been playing this game every day for probably the last five years. He has certainly impressed this summer and he showed at Chi League Pro Ams that he is ready to be a force for the Blue Devils this year and will most likely have quite a large role in the offense.

Parker should win ACC freshman of the year if all goes to plan and he should put up excellent scoring and rebounding numbers to boot. The news also came out recently that Parker woud play stretches at center for the Blue Devils so he will have excellent position for rebounding considering that. All fun things to keep an eye on and you can bet I will be tuned in from the opening tip of college basketball and Parker will be one of my must watch players next season.
