Kevin Nash Up For Role In Hunger Games Sequel Catching Fire

By Riley Schmitt

Kevin Nash had an ill fated return to the squared circle earlier this year, so he has decided to get back into the acting business.  It appears that Nash could be up for a role in the sequel to The Hunger Games.  It appears that Nash could be portraying Brutus in The Hunger Games:  Catching Fire.

We mentioned yesterday that former wrestler-turned-actor Kevin Nash had mentioned that he was up for a role in the sequel, but didn’t specify which character. Many fans speculate that Nash would be portraying Brutus, the buff 40-something District 2 champion who volunteers for the third Quarter Quell.

Hopefully they have plenty of doctors on the set.  You just know that Kevin Nash is a torn muscle waiting to happen.  Often makes me wonder about his training sessions.  I would think natural muscle growth would not cause muscle tears, but maybe that is just me.

Nash has certainly turned into a better actor than wrestler.  He has not been relevant in the ring since about two years into the nWo.  That is a long time ago.  The business has left guys like Kevin Nash in the dust, which isn’t bad thing.  Poor mic work, the inability to wrestle a good match, and a long list of injuries is three strikes against you.

Maybe Kevin Nash becomes a successful actor.  He will never be anything like The Rock, but he could make a career out of it.  Just make sure he doesn’t have to run, otherwise it’s a torn quad.
