No more predicitons, the deal has officially been agreed upon. The Washington Redskins will swap 2012′s 6th overall pick with the St. Louis Rams, sending an additional two 1st round picks (2013 and 2014) and 39 overall in 2012 for the rights to the #2 overal pick.

So, now that the deal is done, it’s time to update our Mock Drafts! I’m starting off with a top 10 and will add the rest of the 1st round.

With the 1st Overall Pick, the Indianapolis Colts select: Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford

  • The Colts have cleaned house, and will begin a new era with one of the better Qb “prospects” the league has seen in years.

With the 2nd Overall Pick aqcuired from the St. Louis Rams, the Washington Redskins select: Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor

  • The Washington Redskins must get a franchise Quarterback, and you don’t make a monumental trade not to. Robert Griffin III is now a Washington Redskin.

With the 3rd Overall Pick the Minnesota Vikings select: Matt Kalil, LT, USC

  • The Vikings need to protect Christian Ponder, and Kalil possesses everything you would want in a Left Tackle.

With the 4th Overall Pick the Cleveland Browns select: Justin Blackmon, WR, OSU

  • The Browns may opt to go Trent Richardson here, however, I think they can address the RB position via free agency or with their second 1st round pick. They need to get whoever plays QB more guys to throw the rock to. I’m not a fan of Blackmon, however, he’s likely to be the first WR drafted.

With the 5th Overall Pick the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU

  • With the uncertainty of Aqib Talib, the Bucs must address their secondary and Claiborne is the best option.

With the 6th Overall Pick the St. Louis Rams select: Riley Rieff, T, Iowa

  • Jeff Fisher likes to build his team from the inside out. The Rams did a horrible job at protecting Sam Bradford last year, and with his injury history, you better find guys to keep him off the ground. They may be tempted to go D-Line, but O-Line is more of a priority.

With the 7th Overall Pick the Jacksonville Jaguars select: Melvin Ingram, DEnd/OLB, SC

  • The Jags may like to trade back here. However, if they do stay here, Melvin Ingram would fill a need. He fits he Jaguar mold.

With the 8th Overall Pick the Miami Dolphins select: Nick Perry, DEnd, USC

  • Nick Perry fits the Jeff Ireland mold. Assuming the Dolphins address the Quarterback position via Free Agency, I’ve heard they love this guy. The Dolphins may look to trade back to select him, as this may be a little rich. However, I ultimately believe Perry ends up a Dolphin.

With the 9th Overall Pick the Carolina Panthers select: Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis

  • Even though Poe had an outstanding combine, this may be a tad rich for him. However, LSU’s standout, Micheal Brockers didn’t help himself and I believe will drop in this draft. Which is good news for Dontari Poe. I think Poe is a inconsistent player with loads of upside. Typical boom or bust type.

With the 10th Overall Pick the Buffalo Bills select: Micheal Floyd, WR, Notre Dame

  • The Bills are sitting in a good position, because I ultimately believe they trade out this pick. Between the Jets and Bengals, I could see those teams targeting Trent Richardson. In addition, the Bears may target Micheal Floyd. I’m slotting Mike Floyd here, just because I believe he’ll be the 10th overall pick, one way or another. The Bills do need a guy opposite of Stevie Johnson, so selecting Floyd would fill a need.
