A Record 26 players will attend the 2012 NFL Draft including the top QB’s
The NFL announced a record 26 confirmed top prospects who will attend the 2012 NFL Draft at Radio Music City Hall in New York City. Which includes a record five players from Alabama, the 2012 BCS Champions.
Players confirmed to attend the 2012 NFL Draft:

2. Justin Blackmon, WR, OSU
3. Micheal Brockers, DT, LSU
4. Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
5. Quinton Coples, DE, UNC
6. Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State
7. Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford
8. Micheal Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
9. Stephon Gilmore, CB, SC
10. Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
11. Cordy Glenn, T/G, Georgia
12. Dont’a Hightower, LB, Alabama
13. Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech
14. Melvin Ingram, DE, SC
15. Matt Kalil, T, USC
16. Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
17. Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
18. Shea McClellin, LB, Boise State
19. Nick Perry, DE, SC
20. Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis

- 1st round kicks-off April 26th at 8pm ET.
- 2nd-3rd round on Friday, April 27th at 7pm ET
- 4-7th starts noon on Saturday, April 28th.
With a record, 26 players attending the 2012 NFL Draft, the question must be asked – Will all these guys get picked in the 1st round? Getting passed over in the 1st round and being one of the few, if only guy remaining in the green room has to be a horrible feeling. However, I’m sure most of these players thought of that before accepting their invite.
Guys like Rueben Randle and Coby Fleener could slip into the 2nd round. Either way, being invited to the draft is an honor, and I congratulate them all.
