2011 was a fantastic year for sports. There was drama around every corner and some breakout stars that captured the hearts of everyone.

However, there were also those stories that grew old quickly. The hype factor quickly wore out and fans grew sick of the constant non-updates of said stories.

Looking back through the year, I ranked the top 10 overhyped stories from 2011. Smart money says you'll definitely see Tim Tebow on this list.

    LeBron James 4th quarter woes and not winning a championship were talked about more than him talking about the NFL.
