Jason Whitlock has made a career out of attacking issues based on race. Friday night, he may have crossed the line a bit. Actually, he nuked the line, but I digress.
This completely racist and insensitive Tweet about Jeremy Lin is way over the top. At first I laughed. I then realized that stuff like this is not ok. Twitter is real time thoughts, so Whitlock should have used a bit of discretion before posting it.
The fact that he hasn’t deleted it yet is absurd. Some may say I’m too soft for having a problem with it, but let Lin enjoy his stardom. There’s no need to attack based on stereotypes.
