AJ Hawk Flops To Get A Penalty Against The Chicago Bears

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

AJ Hawk is a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers but he also looks to be a pretty good actor. He managed to pull off an amazing flop in order to draw a personal foul penalty against the Chicago Bears on Thursday night.

Seriously, this video is simply amazing.  You know what they say.  They never punish the guy who starts stuff.  Hawk clearly shoved Gabe Carimi first, but the refs saw Carimi hit Hawk.  Hawk certainly helped them by flying over the pile in order to draw the flag.

We have seen flops in football before but this is certainly one of the best.  The fact that Hawk used the pile to make it look even worse is a perfect use of his veteran skills.  He knew that he could draw the rookie into doing something stupid and it helped stymie a Bears drive.

This game is certainly what we expected out of these two.  It may not be the offensive explosion that many predicted but the defense is playing amazing on both sides.  It has been a hard hitting game with a lot of big plays on the defensive side of the ball.

I bet we see this play all over the highlights.  Not because it was an amazing play, but because Hawk flopped so badly that everyone instantly made fun of him for.  It may not have been pretty, but it was something that we will remember for a while.
