Pizza Place in Denver Offering Free Pie if Lin Outscores Melo the Rest of the Season

NY PIZZA, a restaurant in Denver, is offering a free pizza pie if Knicks sensation Jeremy Lin outscores Nuggets defector Carmelo Anthony the rest of the season.

In Denver the despise for Melo runs pretty deep and if there is any chance that people can cheer for his failure they’ll take it. Throw in a free pizza? Even better.

We are all curious to see how the Melo/Lin duo will work the rest of the season as the Knicks try to secure a playoff spot. It’s had it’s ups and downs so far but that was a small sample size. The real test will be post All-Star break, pressure packed games down the stretch.

Regardless, the people of Denver have a chance to gain something out of Melo’s lack of success and that’s all they can ask for.
