The Dallas Cowboys will be without linebacker Sean Lee on Sunday when the Seattle Seahawks come to town. Lee dislocated his left wrist during the Cowboys’ 34-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and the injury might require season-ending surgery.
Earlier this week, Lee said he would try to play against Seattle with a cast on his wrist, but his injury is apparently worse than originally thought. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday morning Lee has been ruled out of the game against Seattle and possibly more games after that.
Meanwhile, Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins will also miss a month of action with a hamstring injury he suffered against the Eagles. Jenkins said directly after the game he thought he would be fine for Sunday’s contest against Seattle, but now says he’ll be out 3-4 weeks. The Cowboys have now lost two defensive starters at the most critical point of the 2011 season.
