Fantasy Football: 5 Best Types of Players

Every fantasy football league has a certain dynamic. There are the guys you love, the guys you hate and the guys you love to hate. Here are my favorite types of players who I think should be in each and every league.

Not to be confused with the traitor, this guy is the trader. You go to check your team after draft day and you find you already have three trades proposed to you, all from the same guy. This guy is persistent in trading, and every league needs one. A league without trading is a boring league.

This guy doesn’t shut up, but is more constructive about it. Every league needs someone to stir up the pot every once in a while, and this guy knows how to get it done. Debating on topics no one even knew about, such as which kicker to pick up for your kicker’s bye week.

3. The Trash Talker

This guy also doesn’t shut up, but you love him for it. He is always posting in his matchup about how he will dominate and almost takes it too far. But it isn’t fantasy football if there isn’t some sort of personal attack involved, right?

2. The Pun Guy

This guy is one of my favorites. He always has a great punny name change nearly every week. From ‘Turn Down For Watt’ to ‘Over DwayneBowe’ and everything in-between.

The Die-Hard fantasy football player doesn’t stop. Full season leagues, weekly leagues, daily leagues, survivor pools. He knows everything at the draft and brings tons of books. This guy is ultimately what fantasy football should be all about.
