Despite all of the attention the New England Patriots are receiving for unseating the Cincinnati Bengals from the land of the unbeaten, the Buffalo Bills are actually the current kings of the AFC East. It will be interesting to see if the Patriots have cured their road woes this week in Buffalo. Here are five bold predictions for the pivotal Week 6 matchup.

We learned in Week 5 that the Patriots’ aerial attack is rising from the dead. Last week the focus was on the tight ends; this week, look for Brady to utilize his two most talented receivers, LaFell and Dobson. Dobson appears to finally be ready for a substantial workload having fully healed from foot surgery.

4. Brandon Browner Will Get a Pick

The Patriots activated Brandon Browner this week, and he is in good standing to start on Sunday. Browner could easily nab his first interception as a Patriot because Kyle Orton isn’t exactly immune from committing turnovers. His interception that culminated in a pick-six for Rashean Mathis last week was one of the worst throws of the 2014 season thus far.

3. Brandon Spikes Will Dish Out Some Hits

There’s not much love lost between the Patriots and Spikes. While pass coverage is far from his specialty, Spikes does excel in the run game and will blow through gaps in protection. He would like nothing more than to rock one or more of his former teammates.

2. C.J. Spiller Will Go the Distance on a Kick Return

One of the NFL’s most dangerous players in space, Spiller has already taken a kick return to pay dirt this season. Expect the electrifying ball-carrier to rip off another touchdown in the kick return game and give the Bills some much-needed points from an unlikely source.

Like last week against the Bengals, the Patriots aren’t going to look back once they take the lead in the first quarter. There’s no doubt that this Bills team is for real, and they should contend for a wild card spot, but the Brady era is still alive and well. Momentum is so hugely in the Patriots’ favor going into this game, it’s almost impossible to bet against them.
