Off to an 0-5 start, the Oakland Raiders haven’t exactly begun their 2014 campaign the way they were hoping for. They’ve already gotten rid of their head coach, found a new starting quarterback and could be looking for a new GM in the near future. With all of this house cleaning, one has to wonder if they’ll make some moves at the NFL trade deadline.

With that in mind, here’s a look at five players who could be shipped out soon.

QB Matt Schaub

The Schaub experiment obviously didn’t pan out the way the Raiders were hoping it would. Instead, they handed the keys to rookie Derek Carr, who has played well despite the obvious experience deficiencies. Seeing as Carr is the quarterback of the future in Oakland, the Raiders might opt to trade away Schaub if the right offer hits GM Reggie McKenzie’s desk.

In terms of natural talent and athleticism, Moore is easily the best wide receiver the Raiders have. Unfortunately, he’s failed to put it all together upstairs, which has obviously hindered his progress. Unless the Raiders want to continue waiting and wondering if Moore will ever develop into a star, they might be able to add an extra draft pick to their haul via trade.

The unexpected emergence of rookie T.J. Carrie has been a pleasant surprise for the Raiders, which has quickly depleted the value of underwhelming veteran Rogers. Although he has the most experience of Oakland’s cornerbacks, Rogers has been outplayed by the other younger cover men in the secondary, and might yield a late-round pick from a team desperate for help on defense.

QB Matt McGloin

If the Raiders aren’t interested in getting rid of Schaub, maybe they’d be willing to part ways with McGloin for the right price. The sophomore quarterback and former undrafted free agent has shown glimpses of starting-caliber talent, but is extremely inconsistent and lacks elite physical tools. If another team is desperate enough, though, he has starting experience and could be had for a reasonable price.

Heading into the 2014 season, it seemed as though Streater was destined to emerge as the Raiders’ go-to wide receiver. Well, that hasn’t exactly been the case so far. Instead, he’s taken less snaps than Moore, Andre Holmes and James Jones, and has become an afterthought in Oakland. It might be time to ship him out before his stock plummets completely.
