The St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs could both be having better seasons, but at least both teams are coming off of wins. Not to mention, both teams are coming off of wins against teams who are legit Super Bowl contenders.
The Rams shocked the NFL by knocking off the Seattle Seahawks by two points in Week 7. It was only the second win of 2014, so you can say not many people were expecting that one. In all fairness to St. Louis, it has played against teams like Philadelphia, Dallas and San Francisco. The Rams have given up a good amount of points in 2014. 176 to be exact, which is the most in the NFC West. Regardless, the team should enter this one with quite a bit of momentum since it knocked off the defending national champs.
Kansas City managed to knock off the San Diego Chargers by three points (on the road) in Week 7. Not to mention, the Chiefs only held them to 20 points. They have now knocked off two playoff contenders this year — San Diego, of course, and New England.
The Chiefs will be the favorite coming into this one for a couple of reasons. For instance, they will be playing at home, and they have allowed 55 less points than the Rams, just to name two.
PREDICTION: Rams 16, Chiefs 24
