This weekend, the New York Giants head west to take on the Seattle Seahawks, bringing a three game losing streak with them. A miserable loss to the Indianapolis Colts surely has the Giants licking their wounds, and the Seahawks are not a team you want to play when mentally down. However, Seattle hasn’t looked terribly impressive either lately. As each team looks to find a rhythm, here are five bold predictions to look out for this Sunday.

1. Russell Wilson Continues to Have Issues

Something has been off with Seattle’s quarterback ever since the reports of a divided locker room surfaced. Wilson has looked pretty pedestrian in his past two games, especially last week against the winless Raiders. Who knows what’s plaguing him, but don’t be surprised if he still looks pretty shaky against the Giants this weekend.

2. Rashad Jennings Struggles in His Return

Jennings had been putting forth an impressive campaign this season before going down with a knee injury. Early word is to expect him to return this Sunday, but he couldn’t have picked a worse defense to come back to. Seattle has limited opponents to just 83 yards per game on the ground, and though Jennings brings fresh legs, they won’t be running far.

It would seem like a lock to think Manning will have a rough day against the Seahawks. It’s made even more likely after last night’s miserable showing. However, I think he has a bit of a bounce-back this Sunday. I’m not saying he’ll go all out, but I bet Manning plays well enough to keep the Giants in the game against one of the league’s toughest pass defenses.

4. Odell Beckham Jr. Continues to Flourish

Beckham has had himself quite a rookie season so far, including last night’s 156 yard performance. Now, he’ll face some of the best defensive backs in the NFL. However, despite the daunting task, expect Beckham to still put up some good numbers. It won’t be easy, but if Beckham wants to prove himself, doing so against Seattle is the way to do it.

It may not seem like a popular pick, but something tells me the Giants can win here. Seattle has been just decent lately, while New York is coming off an embarrassing loss. The Seahawks may see this as an easy win, all the more reason it could become a trap for them. It won’t be lopsided, but I think the Giants can squeak out a close win this Sunday.
