With the news coming out of the Philadelphia Eagles camp this afternoon that RB LeSean McCoy has at least one broken rib, the rumors started swirling that the Eagles are going to be players in the Buffalo Bills trade possibilities as the October 19th trade deadline comes edges closer. I say no, the Eagles are not going to trade for Marshawn Lynch. The Eagles already addressed their running back issues by claiming undrafted free agent RB Joique Bell off the Bills practice squad.

The Eagles obtained this player two weeks ago after Mike Bell continued to disappoint the Eagles with his play in the offense. Bell is a great talent at running back and had a great preseason with the Buffalo Bills. Andy Reid is not afraid to use a rookie running back in the Eagles offense and will not surrender draft picks on a player that he doesn’t think is needed. Reid is trying to rebuild the Eagles through the use of the draft and likes to acquire draft picks rather than surrender them.

The Eagles obviously liked what they saw from Joique Bell in the preseason with the Buffalo Bills or else they wouldn’t have selected him off the Bills roster, a move which required the Eagles to keep Bell on the Eagles active roster for a minimum of three weeks. I do not expect the Eagles to make a move for the Bills other running back, Marshawn Lynch.

If you are not familiar with Joique Bell, you can watch some of his talents right here.
