NFL Rumors: Could the Arizona Cardinals Trade For A Quarterback?
Mark J. Rebilas-US PRESSWIRE

The Arizona Cardinals need some help at the quarterback position. The trade for Kevin Kolb has clearly not worked out, compounded by the injury he suffered in last night’s preseason opener. It’s a rib contusion and he probably wont miss a lot of time. He wasn’t impressive though, not stepping up in the pocket to avoid pressure and throwing an interception.

John Skelton looked a lot better than Kolb did in his outing. Skelton played well when needing to come in and spell Kolb due to his injuries. Skelton is young and inexperienced, however he’s probably the team’s best option. Because of this, could the Cardinals try and trade for another quarterback?

A guy who could be available is Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore. Moore played pretty well last year for the Dolphins, stepping in after Chad Henne got hurt. Moore currently sits behind David Garrard and Ryan Tannehill. The Dolphins aren’t going to out and out cut Moore but for a draft pick, its very possible he could be had.

The Cardinals could use some help at quarterback. Kevin Kolb can’t really be counted on and John Skelton is young and hasn’t gone through a full season yet. It might be a good idea for the Cardinals to go out and get another quarterback.
