Fantasy NASCAR Rankings for the Finger Lakes 355
Anthony Gruppuso-US PRESSWIRE

Watkins Glen is the one true-road courses left on the NASCAR circuit, so it tends to be a real zoo on some of the tougher turns.  The road course always proves to be a test for fantasy NASCAR fans as well, with multiple wrecks in each race.  To help you decide on who to draft, here are my top fantasy NASCAR drivers for this weekend at the Glen:

1. Tony Stewart – Stewart has mastered the course by winning a record 5 times at the Glen.

2. Jeff Gordon – Gordon has led a record 227 laps at Watkins Glen and has also grabbed 4 checkered flags.  He is also coming off a huge win last weekend at the Poconos and will be extremely confident.

3. Dale Earnhardt Jr.  – “Junior” has not had a top-10 finish here since 2005, but he has been a completely different driver this season.

4. Jimmie Johnson – Johnson is not a fan of road courses; evident by the fact that he has never finished better than third place at Watkins Glen.

5. Kyle Bush – Bush has won at Watkins Glen before (2008), and he is in desperate need of some points this weekend.

6. Martin Truex Jr. – MTJ has 11 top-10 finishes on the year and excels in courses with these types of tight turns.

7. Brad Keselowski – Keselowski has five consecutive top-ten finishes this year, and he has also won his last two Nationwide races as well.

8. Joey Logano – Logano is a very underrated road-warrior and has finished in the top-15 three of his last four races.

9Denny Hamlin – Hamlin has finished tenth or better in four of his last six races at the Glen.

10. Kasey Kahne – Kahne has cracked the top-10 in 12 of his last 16 races this year.
