The Jaguars home game this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals will be on local television after Anheuser-Busch bought the remaining 8,000 tickets on Thursday.
This will extend the Jaguars no blackout streak to 12 consecutive games.
While it is certainly a good thing that the Jaguars avoid blackouts, it may be a terrible idea for the team to continue to have its home games broadcast on local television if fans are not buying tickets. If fans can continue to see the team on television without buying tickets, they may begin to expect the Jaguars to do this for every home game.
So for all of you Jaguars fans watching the game at home on Sunday, make sure you are drinking a Budweiser.
