Sacramento Kings Fans Have To Wait Until All Threats to Move Team Have Ended

Sacramento Kings fans must remember the greatest sports warning of all time that it’s not over until it’s over.

While an NBA committee plans to recommend to the full NBA board that the Kings stay in Sacramento, Chris Hansen, who wants to buy the franchise and move it to Seattle, has said he’s still looking at ways to make his purchase a reality, even though it appears there’s little hope that the full board will go against its own committee’s recommendation.

The vote is expected to take place on May 15. It would be a shocker if the decision was to move to Seattle.

But there’s always a chance that financially, Sacramento’s plans to keep the team in town might fall through. But all indications are that this won’t happen.

Another possibility is for Hansen to buy the team and keep it in Sacramento as long as the city builds a new arena. Then, Hansen could move it to Seattle if the arena in Sacramento was not built.

If that’s his plan, the NBA would never go for it. But the Kings definitely need to guarantee that it will have a new arena. If not, there could be a move to Seattle

The Kings have been given a gift from the NBA committee that voted to keep the team in Sacramento. A few months ago, it appeared certain the team was going to Seattle. But Sacramento fans showed they cared and wanted to keep the team in California.

It appears, for now, that this will be the case.
