TV Schedule: Sunday, Sept. 28, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Lucas Oil Stadium
Line: Indianapolis (-7.5)
The Indianapolis Colts are the favorites in this game for the simple fact that they are playing at home. Oh yeah, they are also the much better team, so that may have something to do with it as well.
After starting the season off with two losses, the Colts finally got their win. Indy dropped 44 points on the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road. Andrew Luck had a pretty good game considering that he threw for 370 yards and four touchdowns.
The Titans have now been blown out two games in a row. The loss to Cincinnati was expected, but the 16-point loss to Dallas probably stung quite a bit. The Bengals could very well be the best team in the NFL right now, just for the record. Unfortunately for Tennessee, Indianapolis isn’t too bad either.
Sure, Indy is 1-2 right now, but its two losses came against Denver and Philadelphia. The last time I checked, both teams were Super Bowl contenders. Plus, it’s not like Indianapolis was blown out by either team. Well, that holds true if you take away the first half against the Broncos.
Entering the season, the Colts were by far the team to beat in the AFC South. They are currently trailing Houston in the standings, but they are still without a doubt the team to beat in this confernece. They will prove that by winning easy against the Titans.
Expect Luck to have yet another big game at Lucas Oil Stadium, and expect the Titans to be no match on the road.
PREDICTION: Titans 14, Colts 31
