Not only has Chad Ochocinco been making headlines this week for his release from the New England Patriots, but the wide receiver is being discussed after a popular adult website by the name of Porn Hub offered him $69,000 to legally change his name to Chad Seisnueve. After the site failed to hear back on the deal, it appears they’re willing to take Ochocinco up on a new offer for a much higher price–$609,000.
Of course, nothing is set on stone yet as Ochocinco apparently thought the deal was only for 24 hours, but Porn Hub made it clear that the deal would require the wideout to keep the name for the rest of his life (can you imagine earning $609,000 for going by a different name for 24 hours?). Ochocinco may have a history of name changes (he previously went by Chad Johnson), but it seems highly unlikely he would stoop this low for money.
On another note, Ochocinco is still unemployed as of Friday afternoon as he continues looking for a new home for the 2012 season. There’s no question Ochocinco will most likely draw interest from numerous teams; it’s just a matter of which team is willing to reach out to the wideout who struggled to fit in the Patriots’ offense all of last season.
