Fantasy Football Week 1 Injury Report Tracker (Updated)

Need somewhere to keep you updated on the Fantasy Football news that comes out every Sunday morning? Well you’ve come to the right place. Each and every weekend, Rant Sports will try our best to keep you updated on every single player that could affect your fantasy football lineup. Obviously there are cases where players all of a sudden find themselves on the injury list Sunday morning, but we will do our best to keep track of those and add names when we see fit.

This list is based off Yahoo! Sports rankings, but it should cover pretty much any relevant player. We are going to look at the top 150 players every week and if they have any question of not playing, he’ll make the list. Make sure you check us out every Sunday to keep your lineup where it needs to be!

Arian Foster – Questionable – pending any setbacks Sunday, Foster should play. I would keep in him your lineup until we hear otherwise. *Update* – Will Start – Foster is active for today’s game, so feel free to play him like normal.

Marshawn Lynch – Questionable – Lynch practiced Friday, which is a good sign. I might consider handcuffing Robert Turbin just in case, but Lynch appears ready to go.

Ryan Matthews – Out – Matthews has been ruled out, so if you have Ronnie Brown he might be worth the start.

Trent Richardson – Questionable – T-Rich is a game-time decision, so check back as much as possible and we’ll update you if his situation changes, but he should play. *Update* Will Start – Richardson will make his debut

Andre Johnson – Probable – Johnson is always someone to worry about, but as long as he’s playing, he should be in your lineup.

Adrian Peterson – Questionable – Peterson may miraculously play on Sunday, but the team is only expecting to give him 10-15 carries. *Update* Peterson is active Week 1, but he won’t start. He will be limited.

Steve Smith – Probable – Smith practiced all week, so he should be good to go.

Marques Colston – Questionable – Colston was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday, so you should be checking his status before you start him. *Update* – Will Start – Colston is active and will start.

Stevie Johnson – Questionable – Johnson was limited in practice with a groin injury, but he expects to play. *Update* – Will Start – As expected, Johnson will play against the New York Jets.

Jonathan Stewart – Questionable – Stewart was limited and probably will not play Sunday, but he could if his situation improved over the weekend.

Beanie Wells – Questionable – Wells was limited and left practice Friday with a hamstring, so be wary of starting him.

Ben Tate – Probable – Pending any change Sunday, Tate will play.

Isaac Redman – Probable – Redman’s ankle injury could hinder him in the game, but he expects to play Sunday night. *Updated* – Will Start – Redman expects to get the nod

Santonio Holmes – Probable – I don’t see Holmes sitting, but if you’re counting on him in a starting lineup, you’re either in a deep league or have some problems.

Jermaine Gresham – Probable – Gresham practiced Friday, so he should be fine for the game.

Justin Blackmon – Probably – I wouldn’t expect much from the rookie, but he’ll play.

Andy Dalton – Probable – Dalton has a bicep injury, but shouldn’t have any issues.

James Starks – Out – Starks will officially not play in Week 1, and if Cedric Benson does well, you may not need him this season anyways.

Owen Daniels – Probable – Daniels is just battling an illness, but should be fine.

Shane Vareen – Out – Vareen will not start, so look out for Steven Ridley to possibly have a big day.

Denarius Moore – Questionable – Keep an eye on Moore in the morning, but he should be playing.

Rashard Mendenhall – Doubtful – At this point I think it would be a miracle if Mendenhall plays.
