NFL Rumors: Could The Chicago Bears Trade For Larry Fitzgerald?

Mark J. Rebilas-US PRESSWIRE

Larry Fitzgerald is stuck on an island with the Arizona Cardinals and his brother took to twitter to air it out. The Cardinals got embarrassed on Monday Night Football by the San Francisco 49ers and a major problem is the Cardinals have no running game and no QB to get their best player the football. With that being said, Larry Fitzgerald could absolutely dominate the NFL Rumors list on the internet over the next few days. If he is indeed available, the Chicago Bears need to 100% trade their soul to get him.

The Chicago Bears still have a gazillion problems with their offensive line, and don’t have a 2nd true WR to pair with Brandon Marshall. Well, that obviously changes with Larry Fitzgerald. Trading for Fitz would make the Bears the favorite to represent the NFC in the super bowl- hands down. Jay Cutler would be living in glory knowing he can launch to Fitz, throw to Marshall running the “first down routes”, and hand the ball off to Matt Forte.

What would it take to get Fitz? Well, for sure a first round pick. Would it be worth it? Heck yeah it would be. Fitz has some good years left and would immediately fit into the Bears offensive schemes. Think about it this way- how are you going to blitz 1000% of the time knowing Marshall and Fitzgerald are running routes, Devin Hester is going long, and Earl Bennett is running the slot?

This is a move that would immediately impact this team, and if Fitz is available- the Bears need to make this a priority.
