LeBron James Had Goal 10 Years Ago of Being in the NBA and Having Two Kids

Rant Sports- Dave Daniels

LeBron James had a definite dream ten years ago and thanks to USAToday we can run those words back to you and see how James did with his goal.

He was named the ALL-USA Player of the Year in both his junior and senior season back when high school stars did not have to go to college. He was asked by USAToday where he hoped to be in 10 years, and he responded “on an NBA roster, and married with two kids.”

He has since won three league MVPs, with a fourth to follow this year, and also brought home a championship last year. He also has two sons and is set to marry high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson this summer.

James has done pretty well and it will be exciting to see what his next ten years have in store for him.

James has already locked down his fourth Most Valuable Player Award after his team’s dynamic season and it seems James is only getting started. If he has four MVP trophies now, then how many could he end up with before his career is over. A lot, is the short hand answer to that one. It would not surprise me if James won this award at LEAST six times. It remains to be seen whether his championships will near that number, but James is poised to deliver one of the best careers in league history. We’ll just have to see if any more children follow.
